		<description>Actually, the first "Thanksgiving" in 1621 wasn't even really a harvest festival. The Puritans wanted nothing to do with any kind of celebration. The event truly was a thanksgiving in that they were giving thanks for the fact that they had managed to stay alive since their arrival, that the crops had survived to be taken in, and that they finally had enough to eat.</description>
