I want my own publishing company and this is why
A while back, I came across the English translation of Book 1 of Kino No Tabi. It was a great book. However, they did not do the translations for the rest of the series. Now, I just checked the release date of volume 35 of Samurai Deeper Kyo only to find out that Tokyopop has canceled the English translations of the series with only two volumes remaining. So, I’ve decided that I need to create my own publishing company to do these releases. Anyone know a venture capitalist who wants to finance this idea?
Another company has picked up Samurai Deeper Kyo, but the next volume won’t be released until November. But if I did some searching, I can probably find other manga and novels that never got released here. And we can also do original ones. Pilgram Jagur just came to mind, they only released 1-3 in the US, but there were two more that never got translated.
